Do I get a Certificate of Destruction?
Provided you request one, yes, you’ll receive a Certificate of Destruction once your car has been processed. This is your proof that the car has been scrapped legally and that you’re no longer responsible for it. We take care of the paperwork so you don’t have to.
Can I keep my personalised number plate?
Yes you can, provided you follow the relevant processes first, otherwise it could be lost forever. You’ll need to either transfer it to another vehicle or put it on retention with the DVLA. Failure to do so will result in it being lost when your car is scrapped.
