What documents do I need to scrap my car?
Your V5C logbook and some photo ID, so the collector can check the car is yours. Can’t find the logbook? You can still scrap the car as long as you can prove you’re the registered keeper. Just let us know when you get your quote.
Can I scrap a car with outstanding finance?
Not until the finance is cleared. The lender owns the car until the agreement is settled, so you’ll need to pay it off or get the finance company’s written permission first.
What if I’ve lost the keys?

Will I get a road tax refund?
