If your car is scrapped then the vehicle will be recycled. This means it is put through a process of depollution, where all of the components and parts will be stripped and processed in line with environmental standards set by Natural Resources Wales. Nearly all of the materials will be used to build new cars in what is considered a circular automotive economy.
