The Range Rover is technically a Land Rover, and constitutes 40% of all Land Rovers we see in a given year. Within the Range Rover sub-brand, the Sport is the most common, accounting for 40% of all Range Rovers. The Evoque comes in second at 34%, with the standard Range Rover making up the remainder.
Most scrapped year/average age
Range Rovers are marginally less reliable than the national average at 15, which perhaps follows their reputation for being more of a school run saviour or ‘Chelsea Tractor’, with both school runs and city driving notorious for bumps and scrapes. The Sport follows the national trend at 16, while the figures are brought down by the Evoque lasting just 11 years on average. The standard Range Rover is the most reliable according to our data, coming in at 18 years on average.
