Most scrapped models
The Grand Cherokee was the most common vehicle from Jeep to come through our system, accounting for 28% of all Jeeps we helped get a price for. Its smaller brother, the standard Cherokee, came in second with 21%. Not far behind was the Renegade at 20%, with the three making up the majority of all Jeeps scrapped. The Compass and Patriot completed the top give, both taking 13% of the share.
Most scrapped year/average age
Jeeps seem to last, on average, around 17 years based on what we see through our system here at Scrap Car Comparison. However, these figures are largely skewed by the Renegade and the Compass, both of which are relatively new in terms of Jeeps. Outside of these two models, the average age rises to a hugely impressive 20.
