Most scrapped models
Siting proudly at the top of our list of Hondas we helped scrap in the last 12 months is the Civic, which accounted for 42%, while the favourite of the older driver, the Jazz, was second at 27%. A popular modern SUV, the C-RV, came in at third with 18% of the share. Showing how much of a popular saloon the Accord was despite leaving the UK market in 2014, it remains the fourth most scrapped Honda at Scrap Car Comparison – although its share is only 5%.
Most scrapped year/average age
Helping prove the theory that Japanese cars offer reliable options, on average we find that Hondas last approximately 18 years, which is higher than the national average of around 16. None of the top five scrapped makes for the brand had an average age lower than 19, which is almost unheard of from the data we’ve found.
