The Rolls Royce Cullinan

The Ultimate Rolls-Royce Toy Car

Toy cars can be the perfect gift for someone who is mad for motors, whether they are played with or proudly displayed and admired. Scrap Car Comparison wanted to take a look at one of the world’s most expensive toy cars and share with you what makes it so special.

Introducing the ultimate boutique accessory from the Rolls-Royce collection, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan 1:8 scale model.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the world’s most expensive series-production SUV. As a 1:8 scale model of the full-size car, the toy Cullinan is a work of art in its own right. Each model is put together by hand, with over 1,200 individually crafted components. It takes over 450 man-hours to build this mini replica – just over half the time it takes to create a full size Cullinan.

Pure Craftsmanship

When it comes to Rolls-Royce, nothing but perfection and impeccable craftsmanship will do. The toy Cullinan features fully functioning headlights, hazard lights and a rear parking light. The interior lights glow across the dashboard, lighting up the speedometer to display tiny numbers with such impressive detail.

The air con vents and dials are finished to perfection with miniature numbers and buttons that only the steadiest of hands could create. Many of the same materials used in this replica are the same on a full-scale Cullinan, such as wood trim and headrest embroidery.

Impeccable Detail

The 1:8 replica, although a fraction of the size of the true Cullinan, still exudes luxury with the unmistakable Rolls-Royce design. The Spirit of Ecstasy is embossed on the side panels of the doors, so small you can barely see it, and yet as elegant as ever.

The coach doors open to expose the headrests and seat piping, smartly woven to absolute precision. The sides of the doors reveal a little Rolls-Royce umbrella, while the seats feature miniature seatbelts that move with a gentle touch.

The Cullinan replica also boasts illuminated tread plates, an adjustable parcel shelf, a glass divider in the boot and foldable boot door, complete with tiny buttons and the famous Rolls-Royce badge. It even has a sensor on the front, mirroring its full-size counterpart.

The miniature Cullinan can be commissioned in any of the 40,000 standard Rolls-Royce colours, plus any other hues you can think of. The SUV’s 42 standard interiors can also be customised for a bespoke finish.

Next Level Technology

An iPhone style remote controls the doors, bonnet, hatch and tailgate, so with the click of a button they can be opened and set to the desired position to showcase it’s impressive interior and design features. The remote can also lock and unlock the 1:8 model, as well as turn on the headlights and hazards, making the interior glisten and sparkle as the model comes to life.

The bonnet opens up to reveal the iconic 6.75 litre twin turbo v12 engine which is so beautifully detailed, you would think you were looking at the real deal.

Just like the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the miniature version can be customised to your heart’s content. You could even match it to your own Cullinan – if you’re lucky enough to drive one.

The starting price for the 1:8 Cullinan replica is £13,000. It comes within its own Perspex case which displays the Cullinan and its various panels in any position.
