Stand Up To Cancer

Supporting Stand Up To Cancer in October

For the month of October, we’re delighted to be supporting Stand Up To Cancer.

Cancer can affect anyone’s life, at any time. In fact, 1 in 2 people born in the UK after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. So we only have one option: accelerate life-saving research. That’s why now is the time to Stand Up To Cancer. You can donate some, or all of the profits of your scrap vehicle when you use Scrap Car Comparison this month. Every penny will help speed up life-saving cancer research. Research that will get new tests and treatments to people who need them the most. Research that means more lives saved.

They are inspired by the real people who Stand Up To Cancer every day, in their own unique ways, all over the UK. Like Professor Aymen Al-Shamkhani and his team, pictured here, who hope to develop a new way of treating cancer by boosting the natural, cancer-fighting ability of white blood cells. When we raise money, we’re doing our bit to help them, and many more like them.
That’s why now is the time to Stand Up To Cancer. By using Scrap Car Comparison, you can choose to donate all, or some of the profit of your old, unwanted or damaged vehicle to Stand Up To Cancer to speed up progress in life-saving cancer research. The donations you give will help us see 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034.

Brought to you by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, Stand Up To Cancer is a year-round fundraising effort. Find out how you can take further action at su2c.org.uk. What will you do to Stand Up To Cancer?

Give Money. Save Lives. Stand Up To Cancer.

  1. My brother was born with kidney cancer, but survived somehow. Yet I have watched my dad, uncle, Nan, aunt, grandad and friend lose their battle to this. Proud to see you all support this disease!
