We’re delighted to partner with Royal British Legion Industries this November

Royal British Legion Industries is the leading charity for disadvantaged military veterans and those living with disabilities in the country.

Established over 100 years ago in 1919, one year after the end of the First World War, the charity was founded to support those returning home from the trenches. Since then, RBLI has grown substantially, and now supports over 11,000 people every year.

The main purpose of the charity is to help guide those most in need back towards independence, whether it’s through providing meaningful, rewarding work in its factory or by providing a home in the charity’s intergenerational Village in Aylesford.

RBLI’s Village offers a host of accommodation, welfare support and convalescent care to those with a connection to the Armed Forces or with a disability or health condition. Not only is the Village home to a number of housing options for those in need, but it also includes Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company, which provides employment to armed forces veterans or those with disabilities.

The BBMC, housed in its own factory within RBLI’s Village, specialises in the manufacture of road & railway signage and wooden products, as well as fulfilment along with print and mail services.

You can support RBLI and donate when you sell your car with Scrap Car Comparison through our Donate-A-Car scheme. For further information on how this scheme works, we’ve put together a handy FAQ document, which can be found here.

Choose to donate some – or if you’re feeling particularly generous, every single penny – of the profits from your car when you scrap it with Scrap Car Comparison and help RBLI continue the outstanding work it has been carrying out for over a century.
