We’re proud to be supporting The Grassroots Trust in March. We’ll be raising money solely through donations from our customers to help support The Grassroots Trust which since 1998 has been supporting the village of Mbeya, a poor area in Tanzania by providing schooling for primary and secondary schools and even onto university.
Grassroots’ Sponsorship Schemes are run by local people, charities and churches who know the needs of their communities. From the UK they oversee the work, give management and directional input, check that the money is well used and that the kids are well served.
All donations are used to provide food, education, GP level medical care and accommodation. 100% of the sponsorship money is spent on the children, with none taken for the charity administration or advertising.
You can help The Grassroots Trust by choosing to donate through our Donate-A-Car scheme.
