Do I need to be present for collection?
Sometimes, but a family member or friend can hand over the vehicle on your behalf if they have a signed note stating you are happy for them to do so and a form of identification. A few of our collectors can also collect without anyone present - if this is of interest please contact your collector to find out if they offer this service.

What paperwork is needed?
The vehicle’s V5C registration and keys, plus a form of photo ID. Any additional paperwork you have for the car should be handed over at this stage as it may be of use to the collector.

How is payment for my vehicle made?
Payment is made via one of the following two methods:
Cheque: If payment is made in the form of a business cheque {{COLLECTOR_NAME}} will need to confirm your full name as it appears on your bank account. All of our buyers go through stringent background checks and their payment methods have been verified. Payments made via cheque will clear to your account within three working days.
BACS: BACS payment is used when payment is made at the time of collection. Payment must be made into the name of the person on the V5C (registration system) and [collector’s name] will need to take your account number and sort code in order to make the payment. Please note that these details can only be used when somebody wants to make payments into your account.
